On the Day 1 Altitude Profile, “A” is the Heart Break Ridge. The small dip after Heart Break Ridge is the Madule camp. The trail from Madcule “B” continues up the mountain and finally interacts the Big Pine service road. It was a very tough climb and it took awhile to get to the road. The view up here, however, was fantastic. Once we finally got to the road, it was all down hill to Alamar Camp. “C"
