We had intended to hike from Willow Meadow to Alamar Saddle Camp. There was no water at Alamar, however, so we went down to the spring at Upper Bear Camp. Although a very steep climb, the trail to Alamar was in good shape. The ½ mile trail down to Upper Bear was a challenge. The soil was loose, and covered with acorns. It was like walking on a steep roof covered with ball bearings. NOTE: Some movies are started with an arrow in the middle and others have the arrow on botton left.
