A fairwell hamberger the night before at a local dive bar is a great way to start a trip. I booked the flights using an agency called "Cheapo Air” , Enough said. We flew China Southern airlines from LAX to Guangzhou, China; and then from there to Saigon. The first leg was 14 hours, and believe me; 14 hours in economy is a very long time. The 2 hour layover was extended to 3 hours; and then another 3 hours to Saigon. About 20 hours total.
